Alton Ellis - A Whiter Shade Of Pale

During the 70s, Jamaica's music industry had no international copyright agreements, which meant anyone could cover a song "legally" and not have to pay royalties to the original artist. This helped push the popularity of Reggae, internationally and at home, and gave us hundreds of classics with a Jamaican slant, like this cover of Procol Harum's track A Whiter Shade Of Pale. Enjoy!
